“My only regret”
I live in Chicago and had been looking for this particular vehicle for over a month. I searched on the GMC website in a 600 mile radius. I found it in Holland Mi. On Thursday when I called Elhart GMC their were having work done on their phone system, the system rebooted while I was on hold and they immediately called me back. I gave the salesman Trevor Onken the sticker number, he pulled the paper work and went over all the items on the window sticker, making sure this is what I wanted. He guaranteed me the price quoted on the internet would be the price plus tax and title. When I said I would take the vehicle he immediately pulled the keys to insure the vehicle was on hold. He emailed me a copy of the transaction and vin # for the insurance company. He worked with Caryn Knapp in the financial dept. to get me the lowest possible rate that I would be satisfied with. On Saturday my wife and I drove from Chicago to Holland Mi. when we arrived the vehicle was all prepped and he handed us the keys for a test drive. Being from out of state Caryn made sure all the paperwork was exactly what we needed for plates in Illinois. Trevor spent 2 hours going over the entire vehicle from the easy lift tailgate to how to operate all the components in the cockpit. Set up both my wife and mine phones for hands free calling and show me how to connect my phone thru GMC for reference and service for my vehicle. He gave us area info for restaurants and gas stations for my wife's car. When I called him back on Tuesday with questions he answered all of them and told me to call back any time with any question no matter how small. When I went to the State of Illinois for my plates the paper work was perfect in and out in 20 minutes. The truck rides and preforms like a dream, my only regret is that Elhart GMC is a little too far to drive for service. But if their service dept. is as good as sales and finance I believe it would worth a road trip. I have owned a Chevy Silverado for 17 years it has taken me and my family around this great country of ours, I am looking forward to another 17 + years of doing the same in my new Sierra. My husband and I recently purchased Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Elhart Automotive. To be honest, this was not an event I was looking forward to but Dan Marzynski and Kevin Rozema made it a very pleasant experience from start to finish. As the primary driver of this vehicle, I shared with them what I needed it to do (perform well in Michigan weather + have the ability to haul groceries and supplies), but I also wanted something that was comfortable and easy to drive. I also made them aware I had a small budget and a lousy trade-in, but that didn’t deter them from helping me. They made several suggestions – which included vehicles that I hadn’t previously considered. I test drove a couple of vehicles and chose and chose the Hyundai Santa Fe. I wasn’t all familiar with the Santa Fe beforehand, but based on what I needed, this was the one they felt would meet all me needs. They were 100% right. It’s PERFECT! I absolutely love it! Once the decision was made, they arranged our financing and guided us through each step of the paperwork. Before I knew it, I was out the door and driving down the road in my new to me vehicle! It couldn’t have been easier!

My only complaint was that we were told the car would be gassed up and ready when we picked it up. After we realized we had less than ¼ tank of gas. Not a deal breaker at all, but thought that meant a full tank of gas. Jeff Schaap was great to work with.

I was in the market to purchase a replacement vehicle, due to a accident recently, in which my car was totaled. I went to several dealerships and test drove several vehicles. My wife and I have a certain budget to stay in. I happened to stop into Elhart, not thinking about looking at used vehicles. I went down the used aisle and seen this ultra clean Mazda CX 5. "Support and follow through"
I had my truck serviced at Elhart recently where I was having a vibration noise coming out of my dash and the service team worked hard to identify and resolve it. After the first visit, it seemed better bout not 100% resolved. I reported back to the service department and they went back to work on it and now it has been completely resolved. Opportunity to respond
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to our visit. As we have come to expect, our visit to the Elhart campus was a good one. My wife and I have had a long history of purchasing both new and used vehicles from Elhart Pontiac. Over the years we have driven LeMans, Sunbirds, Pontiac 6000, GMC Pickups, and of course our vehicle of choice, the Pontiac Bonneville. Our most recent Pontiac, a Grand Prix Special Edition, was purchased from our son when he was transferred to Japan with the Marine Corps. (He currently attends school in Traverse City and drives a Pontiac G8.) As you may have noticed, we were a hard core Pontiac family. My father purchased Pontiacs for year from Ken Elhart, I purchased a number of vehicles from Wayne. But, since GM has decided to no longer produce Pontiacs, we have to look at other options. Elhart was again our first visit. We looked at a Hyundai Sonata. This was very early in our search, and although we did not test drive it, it was a very nice vehicle when we did our ‘sit’ test. As our search progressed, and we became more serious about a purchase, common sense seemed to prevail. We should consider a vehicle that sits a bit higher than a car so an SUV type vehicle would seem to fit the bill. As for the Elhart Nissan visit, it went very well. Joe Hovinga was very responsive and answered all of the questions we had. My wife and I have always appreciated the design and appearance of the Murano. The Murano we test drove was everything we expected. An excellent vehicle. Our decision to purchase a 2016 Chevy Traverse was based on a number of factors. As grandparents, the third row seat option seemed to fit our current needs. I also had about $2,400.00 dollars in GM Card credits, something I don’t think that Nissan would take towards a Murano purchase price. Again, thank you for the opportunity to respond. My 2011 Chevy Silverado has about 75k miles. When it’s time to replace it, I’ll check out the GMC’s and Elhart will be the place I check.

Better than I expected
The repair work was done better that I expected for any body shop. They kept me informed of the progress and completed the work in the time period they initially estimated. The paint matched perfectly and additional work beyond the estimate was completed to make the car as good as new. The staff was very professional and friendly. The car was test driven to make sure there was no wind noise or rattles before the car was returned to me. Recommend this dealer? Yes!

Big fan of this dealership! We wanted a new Murano and they did it fully loaded SL at $2500 under the other low ball offers of 2 other dealerships. Tony the sales guy was humble not pushy. Trevor Onken was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. I was pretty sure I wanted a GMC Terrain but he answered all my question, took me out on a test drive, was very informative and knowledgeable on the car, the leasing program, the GMC Supplier Discount. He certainly made the process of car shopping an easy and enjoyable one instead of the tedious and difficult process I was fearing. Then when I picked up car Caryn Knapp was a delight to deal with as well in getting all the paperwork signed and settled. They were both personable, informative, and professional. I appreciated both of them so much in helping me navigate my very first leasing of a brand new vehicle all on my own instead of with my parents as I had previously. “Fantastic to work with”
Ty was fantastic to work with! I shared with him one day what I was looking for in a used Jeep Wrangler. Within a couple of days, Ty called me and offered to bring one by for my convenience. We took a drive and Ty gave me plenty of time to consider the purchase since it was a little more than I was planning. With no pressure we bought the Wrangler and have had fun driving it ever since. We were given a very good trade-in deal on the car we were going to sell, as well. Besides Ty’s service, we were blow away by the way everyone at Elhart treated us as used car buyers. For the most part I felt great about everything. I got a dream car. I was unhappy about having it a short time and had to spend over $350.00 on brakes and then had to take it in again a few days later. I fully understand that I had no warranty but when it was only a few weeks and something costly went wrong I was upset. At that time I felt let down. I became depressed. The car seems to be doing alright now. Still love it.
They kept me updated on their progress. They also asked to drive me home because of the repair. Weather was terrible. Truck was clean and complete.

I have dealth with Elhart for many years. I lease and in December received a call that there was a lease pull ahead program. I went in and at that time decided to wait as my payment would have increased. Then in January the auto show incentive came out as well as my GM card bonus dollars and the lease pull ahead was still out there. So i neded up with the payment that i wanted becuase of all the incentives that i received. The entire process was very easy from start to finish....

I just picked up my fifth Hyundai (2015 Sonata 2.0T) from Elhart Automotive which makes FIVE STRAIGHT "outstanding performances" by Jeff Elhart and Skye Musk, and their sales and finance teams. My wife and I have leased Hyundais in the past from Elhart, including Tuscons, Sonantas, and an Elantra. Most recently, I wanted to try the Elantra GT Hatchback with the panoramic sunroof. Unfortunately, I did not count on the WORST Michigan winters here in Holland in the past 25 years! Not a great winter car- too tight for me. Resolved that I could not go through another winter in my 2013 Elantra, I went back to my guy, Skye Musk at the Elhart Hyundai dealership to see what he could do. Well- he did it again..."EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!" He didn't just put me back into a Sonata 2.0T (which I had prior to the Elantra and LOVED) - but set me up with an OUTSTANDING DEAL with great savings!!! How great is that!! That's how you earn trust and loyalty. Since my wife and I have been leasing and now, buying cars from Elhart, we have only dealt with Skye. And I want to thank him for his "no pressure" sales approach. He listens to us and simply presents us with options based on what he hears that we are lookinf for and what we can afford. But that's NOT the only reason we are sold on Elhart Motors. Once you buy or lease a car...what about raking care of it? Service right? It is great to receive a great deal on a lease or purchase, but what happens if something goes wrong. And what about a place to your regular service done that is: 10 reasonably priced; and 2) reminds you while you are there that they care about you as a customer after the sale? Elhart...? A+ again! A servbice team that is fair, truly takes care of your vehicle, answers your questions, and doesn't sell you what you DON'T need. Clearly, Jeff Elhart and his team understand the value of building customer loyalty for long term sustainability. I believe that is makes them a GREAT lease of purchase dealership that has the best service team in West Michigan. Of course, we can only speak for leasing or purchasing Hyuindai's- but there are other brands available at Elhart. What first brought us to Elhart- was the closing of the Saturn dealership with Elhart assumed. I would say, that finding an honest, fair, and long term Automobile Dealership that you can depend on is like finding a good Day Care provider or honest plumber, or HVAC company. Congrats to Jeff Elhart and his team and "THANKS!" for your loyalty to Holland and West Michigan! Had an issue where the transmission on our 2007 Acadia failed. VERY annoyed that GM didn't send out notices of the recall. Elhart came through and got us a total refund for the price to have a new transmission put in. I put a post on Facebook letting people know of the issue, as well as how well Elhart handled it for us.

I had been experiencing some service issues with my 10 year old Torrent, with only 66k miles and had an appointment for an Elhart technician to diagnose problem and I was also there to renew our just expired extended warranty. While discussing that thoroughly with Caryn Knapp, the GM Robert Gibson, who I know, came in and through futher discussion he asked if he could have 10 minutes with the Torrent. When he returned he explained completely the benefits of taking advantage of a new lease incentive that would seat us in a 2015 Terrain, 3 year lease, factory warranty AND allow us $6500 for the Torrent. We did a test drive and agreed that would be an excellent investment for us in light of the age of the Torrent. Robert handled ALL of the necessary transactions, installed my license plate, added a gift of Quality car washes, explained all of the standard electronic functions and put a requested "be nice" sticker on my bback window. The service department acknowledged that was a great solution for us and we totally agree. We are very fortunate in Holland to have the Elhart FAMILY in our community.

Chelsea has been responsive and nice to work with and I'm the kind of buyer who doesn't want to be "bugged" or feel pressured. She has treated me like a real person and not just a potential sale. Sales is her job, of course, but her approach is one that works well with me and I am more likely to make a decision, as long as it works financially, at your dealership than elsewhere due to her personable nature and she sounds like a "smile" over the phone with a warm sence of humor that is totally appropriate. I came in with a power steering issue that the dealership repaired less than a year ago. I had spent $400 on that repair. You corrected the issue at no cost which was the right thing to do. If you did not it would have been a deal breaker for future business. The balance of the work completed was done satisfactorily on time and within projected/estimated cost.

"Exceptional at explaining"
I went into the dealer to getan oil change and I certainly got an oil change! ...and new tires...and a new truck! Jim DeGraaf and the sales department was exceptional at explaining the current rebates and what that meant to me as a consumer. Jim took my needs into consideration, called me on his own time, and the rest is history.

Nissan Service Department Staff: I came in due to a recall part on my Nissan Rogue- you guys fixed the issue, vacuumed, gave popcorn, candy, aired tires and removed the ugh that was on my dash since I purchased the car. "Dreams come true"
I have always wanted a truck but as I grew older and time had passes I put the dream way in the back of my mind. Recently, during a tire replacement at Elhart, I learned that the underbody of my 1995 can was rusted out and unsafe, so tires would be waste! So, I went on line to elhart.com and in the used vehicle section wsaw a 1998 pickup, George Cholo put the entire deal together in one day and I finally have MY TRUCK. Elhart Automotive Campus is the best and can make your dreams come true too!

"Faithful customer since the purchase"
Good day. On arrival, a service technician was there to ask questions on what the vehicle was there for. Then I was prompted to go to the awesome waiting lounge. I enjoyed a small bag of pop corn, along with an awesome cup of coffee. There was a television there for the viewing and magazines for the reading. I was informed that the maintenance was near completed. Excellent service and lounge. I have been a faithful customer since the purchase of the 2003 Envoy from Elhart. Have an awesome day.

"Service was excellent"
The service was excellent- Heather was so friendly and helpful. I came in on Thursday for an appointment for a recall on my 2012 Nissan Rogue plus an oil change. While waiting I talked to Trason about buying my car at the end of the lease and because of his excellent sales presentation about leasing a 2015 Nissan Rogue, I turned in my 2012 Rogue on Friday and went home driving a new 2015!

"Very happy customer's"I just wanted to let you know how awesome of a job Heather Pitsch does! Every time we bring in our vehicle in and she helps us we end up leaving very happy customer's. We currently have a 3 year 36,000 mile maintenance package with our vehicle we purchased brand new from Elhart. That service will be running out soon, I told my wife Saturday after being at your place for an oil change and maintenance, even after that service contract runs out I will still go out of my way to bring her truck there because of the awesoime service we receive from Heather and the rest of the group.
